Every artist needs space to create, and this addition to a small house extends sensitively into the landscape to provide a flexible, hardwearing annexe with built in canvas.
The extension creates an open plan artist studio with plenty of display space and wash up area, all contained in a minimalist form that’s secondary to the original 1970s house.
Windows are positioned in the corners of the new space, allowing the wall space between to be utilised as a canvas for works of art.
