EARTHLING ARCHITECTURE is a sustainable architecture practice located in the grassy woodland of Tenby Point, near the coast of Westernport, on the Bunurong / Bass Coast of Victoria. The practice has extensive knowledge in architecture and sustainability, extensive experience in project delivery, and a deep commitment to the wellbeing of people and the environment. Each of our projects is sensitive in its response to site, highly considered and artistic in its design resolution of the brief, and cost effective in its construction.

EARTHLING was established and is run by architect Laura Bulmer. The practice is founded on Laura’s specialist knowledge in sustainable design and construction, extensive experience in delivering residential, community and commercial projects, and belief that every project is an opportunity to enhance people’s lives, and the landscapes communities share. Since relocating to the Bass Coast in 2020, Laura has worked with many environmentally conscious clients around Westernport, on the Mornington Peninsula, on Millowl / Phillip Island, and down at Cape Paterson and Inverloch.

Laura has practiced as an architect in Victoria for over 15 years and has worked for leading sustainable architecture practices in Melbourne, delivering projects in urban, coastal and rural areas, including a number of award-winning projects. Laura has a Master of Architecture from the University of Melbourne, is registered with the Architects Registration Board of Victora, and is a member of ArchiTeam, Parlour Collective, Bass Coast Landcare Network, and Land for Wildlife. Laura has also been involved in many environmentally focussed community projects in the Waterline area of the Bass Coast.
